About Us

Pastor Pat Kelley begins serving Watson Memorial United Methodist Church on July 1, 2021.  She and her husband, John, come from the Farmville District where she served three churches in the Prince Edward Charge, and he, two churches in the New Pamplin Charge. She and John have eight children and twenty-two grandchildren located in Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, and Tennessee.

She currently attends Duke Divinity School, working on completing the Course of Study.  Pastor Pat has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a background in marketing and sales, is a certified massage therapist, and a notary public.  She previously was a caterer and owned a gift basket business.

Hands-on mission is near and dear to her heart, particularly feeding the hungry and working with homeless children and young adults.  Also of interest to her is digital church; reaching those outside the walls of the church building.

Pastor Pat looks forward to being in the Chatham community, serving Watson Memorial, and invites all to come and worship.

My office hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 AM – 2 PM.
